This Week in Sandpoint

Another week in Sandpoint. The fun begins Tues, Aug. 19, with Shakespeare in the Parks: As You Like It, a free outdoor performance by Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. That same evening, the Little Live Radio Hour features local musicians Truck Mills and Carl Rey in an intimate program broadcast on KRFY. Also that evening, the North Idaho Philharmonia presents a Family Concert with selections from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, followed on Wed, Aug. 20, by a full performance of the monumental work. Fri, Aug. 22, brings Movies on the Mountain at Schweitzer, paired with a special presentation on bear awareness, while later that night the Lake Pend Oreille Repertory Theatre opens Always… Patsy Cline, with additional shows on Sat, and Sun. The week concludes Sun, Aug. 24, with the Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society Summer BBQ & Potluck, a relaxed lakeside gathering to share food and conversation.
