28: $5 Movie: Field of Dreams. When Iowa farmer Ray (Kevin Costner) hears a mysterious voice one night in his cornfield saying "If you build it, he will come," he feels the need to act. Despite taunts of lunacy, Ray builds a baseball diamond on his land, supported by his wife, Annie (Amy Madigan). Afterward, the ghosts of great players start emerging from the crops to play ball, led by "Shoeless" Joe Jackson. 3 Kendal Mountain Tour 2024. Kendal Mountain Tour is Britain's biggest adventure film festival. This is the second year the film tour has made its way overseas to the Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., with a collection of seven mountain, cultural, and adventure films for 2024. Show starts at 7 p.m. with doors opening 1 hour before the show. Get tickets at Panida.org.

4: $5 Movie: American Fiction. Monk is a frustrated novelist who's fed up with the establishment that profits from Black entertainment that relies on tired and offensive tropes. To prove his point, he uses a pen name to write an outlandish Black book of his own, a book that propels him to the heart of hypocrisy and the madness he claims to disdain. 11: $5 Movie: Little Women. In the years after the Civil War, Jo March lives in New York and makes her living as a writer, while her sister Amy studies painting in Paris. Their oldest sibling, Meg, is married to a schoolteacher, while shy sister Beth develops a devastating illness that brings the family back together. Show will be held at the Panida, 300 N. 21 Full Draw Film Tour. The Full Draw Film Tour is back again in 2024, and these bowhunting filmmakers didn't disappoint. Join in for 'Your Journey' presented by ONXHUNT. 22 No Man's Land Film Festival. have you ever not done something because you didn't feel like you belonged? Have you ever been the only one like you in a space? Have you ever been told you're too much? See yourself on the screen and be celebrated. No Man's Land is returning for its second year at the Panida, 300 N. First Ave. and storytellers center around all-women + genderqueer + all body types + black + multiracial + indigenous + all ages in the outdoors.
