The Festival at Sandpoint's 2024 Online Auction is the only place where you will be able to find exclusive items, including sponsor entry tickets, prime blanket placements, a reserved parking spot, and exclusive wine bottle signed by the 2023 Summer Series artists, and more. The auction will open to preview and pre-register on May 8. It all kicks off on Friday, May 17 with the parade. Parade cars need to be at the Sandpoint High School parking lot before or at 5 p.m. with your $45 entry fee. Pre-register for your special gift. All vintage and classic cars are welcome. It's a volunteer line, so if nobody answers, leave a message. Parade will start at 6 p.m. The Lost in the 50s Street Dance follows the Vintage Car Parade. Join in between Second Ave. and Third Ave. on Main St. (by the Jeff Jones Square) and be transported back to when vinyl was the disc jockeys best friend and the music rocked your soul. Then it's time for the Lost in the 50s Show and Dance featuring Gary Lewis and the Playboys. There will be lots of memorable hits, a great night of dancing and entertainment that will also include Rocky and the Rollers rockin' the house before and after guest artists. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Bonner County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $55 for the night, or get a weekend pass for $110 and attend Friday and Saturday shows. Wake up bright and early on Saturday, May 18, to continue the 50s fun with the Lost in the 50s Car Show. Walk the streets of Sandpoint as it will be bursting at the seams with Hot Rods and Classics on First & Cedar, Main, Second, and Third Ave. The award ceremony will follow at the corner of First & Cedar in front of the Cedar Street Bridge. 18 Meet Your Neighborhood Non-Profits. Discover the heart of your community at the "Meet Your Neighborhood Nonprofits" Fair! Engage with local organizations, learn about their missions, and find ways to get involved. Let's build a stronger, more connected community together. This fair will be held at the Rex Theater, 50 Main St. in Priest River from noon to 4 p.m. If you visit all the stations, word is - there's a prize! 18 Spring Fling at Magpie Market. The Cottage Market is throwing its first Spring fling at the Magpie, 30340 Hwy 200. Come on down on Saturdays between April 27 and May 18 and see local creators and makers of all kinds. See your favorite vendors from the Cottage Market. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

18 B.Y.O.B. at the Wine Hangar. Reserve your seat to blend your own 1.5L bottle of Bistro Rouge. Join in at the wine production facility where you can taste wine directly from the barrel, enjoy a meal, and become a winemaker for day. The event is divided into three and a half hour sessions beginning at noon. The price is $95 per person. 18 "Seniors" Prom. Anyone 55 or older is welcome to join for a wonderful evening of dancing and friendship. 19 Kaniksu Folk School - Monthly Herbal Walks. 1-4 p.m. at The Big Red Shed, 11735 W. Pine St. Instructor Meryl Kastin is a Clinical and Field Herbalist for over 40 years. Learn to positively ID plants as well as when and how best to gather them and how to use them for food and/or medicine. Also identify some of the most poisonous plants in North America. Attend each month's walks to see the various plant stages of the same plants as well as the progression through the seasons of the herbs to use. 1 Sand Creek Paddlers' Challenge. This is a fun and exciting event for families and serious racers alike. Join the Sandpoint Parks & Recreation Department for the Annual Sand Creek Paddlers' Challenge. This event is all about FUN (and some healthy competition if you want) There are three separate divisions, two race divisions, solo & tandem, recreation and a SUP division.  There are trophies for 1st place in each division. All other prized are awarded by random drawing. This is a 4 mile paddle (round trip) up and back on Sand Creek. This event has grown each year and is quickly becoming a don't-miss event. Check in and late registration will take place at the City Beach Pavilion from 9-9:30 a.m., the race will start at 10 a.m. $25/boat.

1 North Idaho Ice Dinner & Auction. Support the Ponderay Community Ice Rink, coming to you soon in November of 2024! 8 Annual Native Plant Sale. The KNPS Annual Native Plant Sale will be happening from 9 a.m. to noon (no early sales) in the North Idaho Native Plant Arboretum between the S. 8 North Idaho Paddlesports Spring Opener. Visit the inaugural North Idaho paddle sports season kick-off and equipment exchange event. 8-9: 6th Annual Sandpoint Renaissance Fair. Join from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for two days of fine entertainment, eclectic merchants, and a joyous atmosphere. Enjoy the opportunity to get yourself turkey legs, fairy supplies, jewelry, chainmail, pottery, and more All of your medieval needs will be met. Costumes are encouraged and admired. 14-15 C&M Circus. Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is coming to Sandpoint. Four shows will be performed under a real Circus Big Top at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, 4203 N. Boyer Ave. Showtimes on Friday will be 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and showtimes on Saturday will be 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at a discounted price at here. 15: 2024 CHAFE 150. Sandpoint Rotary presents the Annual CHAFE 150 Gran Fondo, named one of the top charity rides in the U.S.! The ride takes place in Sandpoint, Idaho, the "Most Beautiful Small Town in the USA." The 150 mile route is a grand loop around the Cabinet Mountains. CHAFE offers magnificent 100, 80, 40, and 30 mile routes, and a family fun ride for riders of any level! 15 SCA Environmental Film Festival. This film fest is a free public event open to all ages. It is designed to educate and inspire our local community through film.
