Bird Aviation Museum & Invention Center

Founded by Drs. Pamela and Forrest Bird, the museum houses a collection of vintage aircraft, aviation memorabilia and inventions by WWII aviator Forrest Bird, whose wartime experiences led him to invent the first reliable medical respirator now used by hospitals worldwide.

A wolf education facility where you can see live wolves, take pictures, help socialize new cubs, and learn about wolves. We do educational programs in public as well as tours at our facility. Our wolves will show you the beautiful, intelligent, loving side of the wolf. Gift shop. Open Sunday-Friday, closed Saturday. 12 miles south of Sandpoint on Highway 95 in Cocolalla.
