Local video producer goes international

Terry Cooper is well-known for producing the regional show "Ski Flakes" – shown in Sandpoint on Channel 99 – and now through his business, Hot Shots Video Productions, his work is being viewed around the world.

Training videos he produced for local companies, such as Litehouse and Bird Space Technology, are being distributed worldwide. This year, he's finishing a three-year-long project, "The Border Line Tour" – a video featuring stories about ski resorts along the Canada/U.S. border, including Schweitzer.

"I get to learn what people have a passion for and help them express that passion," Cooper said. "The other cool thing is getting positive feedback from clients about using video."
