| This eMac, is an all-in-one computer with built in monitor. The "eMac" is short for education Mac, was a Macintosh desktop computer made by Apple, originally aimed at the education market, then available for the mass market option. The eMac design closely resembled first-generation iMacs. It has a PowerPC G4 processor significantly faster than the older iMac's G3 processor, and a larger 17" flat display. We bought this one for home use in about 2005 from a UI department in Moscow. It works just fine with no known problems. It has some software (MS Office suite with Word and Excel) that we can leave on board too. |
